ImOn Communications recently hired Gilbert Nuñez as Director of Commercial Business Services in Dubuque and Stephanie Decker as Vice President of Network Technology and Information Systems. Both Mr. Nuñez and Ms. Decker will serve as key members of the company’s leadership team.
Gilbert Nuñez
As Director of Commercial Business Services, Mr. Nuñez oversees ImOn’s commercial sales and service operations in Dubuque. Mr. Nuñez is excited to capitalize on ImOn’s growing fiber Internet footprint in Dubuque to connect more of Dubuque’s local, regional, and national businesses to ImOn’s state-of-the-art network, and to continue serving the more than 400 businesses in Dubuque and the surrounding communities that currently partner with ImOn for their telecommunication services.
Mr. Nuñez brings more than 20 years of B2B sales and business development experience to his role at ImOn. Prior to joining the ImOn team, he spent 12 years in various management roles at Alliant Energy in Cedar Rapids. Mr. Nuñez is also the owner of a local construction company, Iowa Corridor Construction LLC.

Stephanie Decker
ImOn is also pleased to announce the addition of Stephanie Decker as Vice President of Network Technology and Information Systems. Ms. Decker leads ImOn’s information technology (IT) department and oversees the company’s technology infrastructure, including cybersecurity initiatives and the management and optimization of critical technology systems.
Ms. Decker has spent the entirety of her 35-year career in the telecommunications industry, first with Verizon Business and later with UScellular. Her diverse career includes senior roles in both project management and network engineering.
